Andy Field, Correspondent

Andy has more than thirty years experience writing and producing TV news reports at both the network and local level. For 10 years he was the Washington Correspondent for the ABC owned stations in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and San Francisco. He also served as the Washington Bureau Chief for WABC-TV New York. Andy's reporting has appeared on ABC, Discovery and two PBS series: Money Moves and MoneyTrack. He now also reports for the Money Makeover segment on AARP Television's My Generation program. In 2001, he was part of the ABC news team which received the Peabody and Dupont Awards for coverage of the September 11th attacks. I've long admired Andy's work. We first met when I was the personal finance reporter and he was the consumer reporter for the WJLA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Washington, DC.
