Tricia Hua, Correspondent
I was fortunate to find Tricia when in search of talent for NADA's convention in San Francisco several years ago. Like the 49ers that mined for precious metals more than a century and a half ago, I discovered gold in the city by the bay. Tricia's TV news career spans more than a decade as a news anchor and reporter. While she has “star” quality, I like the fact that she's performed important off-camera editorial functions as a producer and assignment editor. Quite frankly, pretty faces are easy to find. What I'm looking for is IQ power that knows how to research and write, someone who knows how to tell a story. Tricia is the whole package. In the past, she worked at KNBC-4 in Los Angeles, KGET-17 in Bakersfield and KFTY-TV50 in Northern California. She's currently a freelance correspondent and host and can be seen on the PBS Series, “Land of the Dragon.”
